Tobias von Pein (born July 12, 1985 in Hamburg-Volksdorf ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He is a member of the Schleswig-Holstein State Parliament.

Work and education

Von Pein graduated from secondary school in 2002 and joined the SPD and the United Service Union. By 2005 he completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk in Ahrensburg and Hamburg . He then did community service at the German Child Protection Association in Bargteheide . From 2006 to 2010 he studied social economics at the HWP in Hamburg, since 2007 as a scholarship holder of the Hans Böckler Foundation . In 2010 he received a bachelor's degree as a social economist and started his master's degree. From 2010 to 2012 he worked as a freelance teamer in trade union education.

politics

Von Pein has been politically active since 2004, from 2004 to 2011 as district chairman of the Jusos Stormarn , from 2008 to 2015 as a community representative in Lütjensee and from 2013 to 2016 as a member of the official committee in the Trittau office . From 2012 to 2017 he was deputy chairman of the SPD Stormarn . He has been chairman of the SPD Stormarn since 2017 .

In the early state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2012 , he ran in the Stormarn-Mitte state electoral district , but initially missed direct entry. On June 12, 2012, he moved up on the state list as Rolf Fischer's successor in the state parliament.

Von Pein ran again for this constituency in the state elections on May 7, 2017. He did not succeed in entering the state parliament, but with Torsten Albig's withdrawal, he moved into parliament on June 6, 2017 via the state list. He is a member of the Petitions Committee and a joint committee with the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. In the SPD parliamentary group he acts as a spokesman for youth policy, for training and further education as well as for questions of right-wing extremism. Tobias von Pein is a member of the support group of the Hans-Böckler-Foundation, the Child Protection Association , the Arbeiterwohlfahrt , the Europa-Union Deutschland and the FC St. Pauli .

Private

Von Pein is married and has two children. He grew up in Trittau and Lütjensee and lives in Trittau.
