Toby Whithouse is a British actor and screenwriter .

Live and act

Toby Whithouse is a trained actor. Whithouse received the Verity Bargate Award in 1998 for his first written play. The play was performed at the Soho Theater in London in 2000 and was later rewritten for radio. Toby Whithouse also wrote Blue Eyes And Heels . This play was also performed at the Soho Theater in London.

Whithouse is the creator of the television series No Angels (2004-2006), Being Human (2008-2013) and the American adaptation of the same name (2011-2014). He has also written several episodes of the television series Attachments , Hotel Babylon , Doctor Who , The Armstrong and Miller Show and Torchwood as a screenwriter . He also worked as an actor in many films and series. As President Alistair Frith in Bridget Jones - Chocolate for Breakfast and the British original series Being Human .
