Ryan Todd McClure (* 16 February 1977 in Baton Rouge , Louisiana ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the center . He played his entire career with the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

McClure went to high school in his hometown of Baton Rouge. He later attended Louisiana State University .

NFL

McClure was selected in the 1999 NFL Draft in the seventh round in 237th place by the Atlanta Falcons . Due to a torn cruciate ligament in his right knee, which he suffered in training camp, he missed his entire rookie season. But in his second season he was named the starting center after the actual center Calvin Collins switched to the position of offensive guard . Until his retirement from the NFL, he only missed a single game. On March 13, 2013, McClure announced his retirement from the NFL. The Falcons owner Arthur Blank announced at the press conference that McClure would not have to wait long to receive the Atlanta Falcons Ring of Honor (a franchise award for special achievements).
