Toddy Pond

The Toddy Pond (English for palm wine pond ) is a freshwater pond in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Convoy Range it is located in a depression 3 km northwest of Flagship Mountain .

The pond is one of a number of geographic features in the Convoy Range whose names are related to seafaring . The name given by scientists from the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program when exploring this area between 1989 and 1990 was based on the names of Rum Pond and Tot Pond .
