Tollhaus is a German cover band mainly for hits and folk music . It comes from the Bavarian administrative district of Upper Franconia .
history
Predecessors of the group were active from the end of the 1980s, in 2005 the name Tollhaus was adopted. The main locations of the group are folk festivals, carnival and Oktoberfest events. In addition to hits and mood songs, English-language pop songs are also covered.
In 2013 they released the live album Party, Wegdichdn, Roggnroohl , which is now available under the name Party & Wegdichdn .
On June 6, 2014, the first Tollhaus single Tollhäuser Nights was released for download. The title is a rewritten version of Kreuzberger Nights by the Blattuß brothers . In September 2014, the title Scheunenparty was published together with the befriended Bauer sucht Frau - participant Bauer Sebastian . The authors were the producer duo Xtreme Sound .
The single Auf der Fahrt nach Frankfurt hin 2015 is based on the folk song Auf der Königstein Fortress . A polonaise edition of the song published in January 2017 reached number 44 in the national DJ TOP 100 of the BVD .
