The Toltec Butte is a compact witness mountain in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Allan Hills , it looms east of the Harris Valley in Shipton Ridge .
Scientists from a campaign of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program in the Allan Hills explored it in 1964 and named it after its resemblance to buildings of the Toltec culture .
