Tom Borner

Tom Börner (* 1968 in Berlin ) is a German music teacher, musician , author , composer and publisher . In 2004 he founded the publisher musiktotal .

Tom Börner wrote textbooks on drums and percussion . He arranged pieces for percussion ensembles and composed the cycle Pictures of Percussion in four movements. He is a teacher at a Berlin music school and teaches students drums and percussion.

In addition, he leads the percussion groups “SchlagFertig”, “drumway” and “Tom's Percussion Band”. These groups regularly organize concert series, including a. in the Philharmonie, in the Academy of Arts and in the House of World Cultures.
