Tom Braidwood

Tom E. Braidwood ( Thomas (E.) Braidwood , born September 27, 1948 in British Columbia ) is a Canadian actor, director and film producer.

Braidwood came from the experimental filmmaking scene in Vancouver. His 1972 short film Backbone has been shown several times at the city's Pacific Cinematheque . In 1974 he was a production assistant on the film Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn .

He became known in the role of Melvin Frohike in the film and the series The X-Files and in The Lone Gunmen as well as through his collaboration as producer and director of the CBC series Da Vinci's Inquest . The film Silence , produced with Jack Darcus , was shown at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival .
