Tom Sayers is a sound engineer .

Life

Sayers began his career as a sound engineer and sound designer in the late 1990s. His debut was the comedy Wild Creatures . His other films include the horror film 28 Days Later and its sequel 28 Weeks Later . Between 2004 and 2010 Sayers was nominated three times for the Golden Reel Award and won the award for Slumdog Millionaire in 2009 . For the drama, which was awarded eight Oscars , he was nominated for the Oscar in the category Best Sound Editing at the 2009 Academy Awards, but received nothing at the award ceremony. However, he won the BAFTA Film Award in the Best Sound category .
