Tom Sayers (boxer)
Tom Sayers (born May 25, 1826 in Brighton , Sussex , England , † November 8, 1865 in the London Borough of Camden , London , England) was an English boxer in the bare knuckle era.
In 1990 he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in the Pioneers category.
Sayers died of diabetes in November 1865 ; he was only 39 years old.
