Tom Weston-Jones

Tom Weston-Jones (* 29. June 1987 in Burton-upon-Trent , Staffordshire as Thomas Weston-Jones ) is a British actor .

Life

Tom Weston-Jones was born to Nick and Irma Weston-Jones. He has a sister (Bethan) and a brother (Ben). Since his parents were teachers in a school in Dubai , he and his two siblings grew up there. He later returned to England to graduate from the Royal Holloway University of London . He trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theater School. Even today he often travels to Dubai to visit his parents.

In 2011 he made his acting debut in the TV movie My Spy Family . He then got a supporting role as Sasha Gavrik in Spooks . He became known in 2012 for the role of Merthin Fitzgerald in the international multi-part television series The Gates of the World , which is based on the novel by Ken Follett .

In 2012 he was able to secure the lead role of police officer Kevin "Corky" Corcoran in the first self-produced television series by BBC America , Copper - Justice is brutal . After two seasons, the series was discontinued the following year due to poor audience ratings.
