Tom Wright (architect)
Tom Wright (born September 18, 1957 ) is a British architect . He was best known for the Burj al Arab in Dubai , which in a very short time became an architectural icon and a symbol of Dubai.
life and career
He studied at the Royal Russell School and the Kingston Polytechnic School of Architecture (today: Kingston University School of Architecture) and graduated in 1983. He is employed by WS Atkins PLC and is now head of the architecture department at Atkins Headquarters in Epsom , London .
