Tomaš Heřman (born November 23, 1969 in Ústí nad Labem ) is a former Czech football player and today's coach .
Career
Heřman started playing football in his hometown of Ústí nad Labem. First he played for eight years for the smaller club Chemička , later for years for the largest club in town, Spartak Ústí nad Labem . In 1988, the then 18-year-old moved to Jindřichův Hradec to do the first year of his military service there. He spent his second year in the army in Tachov . In the 1990/91 season the striker played for VTŽ Chomutov.
He then moved to Slavia Prague , for which he made his debut on August 28, 1991 in the Czechoslovak first division. However, Heřman had no prospects for the capital city and was therefore handed over to former second division club Viktoria Pilsen during the winter break , with whom he was promoted to the newly founded Czech league in 1993. In Pilsen Heřman was used regularly in 126 first division matches he scored 23 goals.
In 1998 he moved within the league to FK Teplice , a year later he went to Belgium to KV Turnhout in the second division. After two years he changed the club again and joined RAEC Mons , with whom he was promoted to the Jupiler League in 2002 . In the 2002/03 season, the Czech came on eleven missions, he did not score a goal in the Belgian top division. After the season, Heřman went to KV Kortrijk. He ended his professional career in the summer of 2005 and played for two more years in Heidenau, Saxony, for Heidenauer SV .
Heřman's first coaching station was his former club FK Chomutov from 2007 to 2009. In the summer of 2009, Heřman moved to Baník Modlany, where he also worked as a player-coach from the beginning of 2010.
