Tomaž Čižman (born January 13, 1965 in Ljubljana ) is a former ski racer from Slovenia . As a member of the Yugoslav national ski team, he was a successful giant slalom runner in the ski world cup at the end of the 1980s .

His greatest success was winning the bronze medal at the World Ski Championships in Vail in 1989 , when he was only beaten by the Swiss Martin Hangl and Pirmin Zurbriggen in the Super-G . The year before, he had already finished 9th in the Super-G at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary .

His best placement in the overall World Cup was a 32nd place in the 1988/89 season . In the World Cup, however, he was usually better in the giant slalom than in the Super-G, because of his 10 top ten places he made nine in the giant slalom.
