music

The producer Lars Halapi discovered Andersson Wij through a simple demo cassette in 1995 and produced his first two albums. Since his breakthrough with the album Ett slag för dig , Andersson Wij has toured regularly, often just with his guitar. Slowly an ever larger and more devoted audience built up. He has developed into a scene artist with nimble guitar playing, long narrative and amusing interviews and the ability to create a condensed mood. He has already been nominated four times for a Grammis . During his career he also worked as a songwriter and translator for other artists such as Freddie Wadling , Totta Näslund and the Bo Kaspers Orkester . In 2007 TAW presented itself to a larger audience for the first time when he introduced the Melodifestivalen finale in Globen with his quiet, calm version of Carola Häggkvist's Evighet . In the same year he received the great fashion award in the category "Best Dressed Artist of the Year" from the newspaper Café .
