In 2000 he came to the Bundesliga for 1. FC Kaiserslautern . During his time in Kaiserslautern, he took part in the 2002 World Cup for his home country Poland. After initially good performances with the Lauterern it was different after the World Cup in 2002 and he even had to compete for the amateur team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

For the 2003/04 season he then moved to 1. FC Köln , but here too he was never really able to assert himself and in January 2004 he moved back to the Polish league at Wisła Krakow . There he became a regular player and he succeeded in gaining a foothold in the Polish national team .

In 2006 he moved to Łódzki KS . In the summer of 2008 he ended his career as a football player there. This was due to problems with the spine.
