Tomasz Latos
Tomasz Edward Latos (born March 8, 1964 in Poznan ) is a Polish politician and has been a member of the Sejm in the V and VI since 2005 . Electoral term.
He is a graduate of the VI. General education lyceum in Bydgoszcz , after which he graduated from the Medical University of Poznan . He was an activist of Chrześcijańska Demokracja - Stronnictwo Pracy (Christian Democrats - Labor Party - ChD-SP) and Akcja Wyborcza Solidarność (Solidarność Election Campaign - AWS) and then joined Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS). From 1998 to 2005 he was a member of the Bydgoszcz City Council.
In the 2005 parliamentary elections , he was elected to the Sejm for the constituency of Bydgoszcz from the PiS list with 10,059 votes. In the 2007 Sejm elections , he won a seat for the PiS for the second time with 17,751 votes. He is a member of the Sejm Commissions for Health and Foreign Affairs.
In the election for Mayor of Bydgoszcz in 2018, he ran for the PiS and achieved the second-most votes with 29.6% behind the re-elected incumbent Rafał Bruski from Koalicja Obywatelska , who had 54.6% of the Simmen.
