Tomislav Koljatic Maroevic ( Croatian : Koljatić-Maroević ) (born September 19, 1955 in Santiago de Chile , Chile ) is the Roman Catholic Bishop of Linares .

Life

Born as the son of Croatian immigrants in the Chilean capital Santiago de Chile , he was ordained a priest on August 14, 1987 . On 27 November 1997 it appointed Pope John Paul II. To auxiliary bishop in Concepción and simultaneously with the titular of Bencenna . He was ordained bishop on January 6, 1998 by the Pope. Co-consecrators were Giovanni Battista Cardinal Re and Jorge María Cardinal Mejía .

Cathedral "San Ambrosio" in Linares

On January 17th, 2003 he was appointed Bishop of Linares by John Paul II . On March 15 of the same year Tomislav Koljatic Maroevic was solemnly inducted into his episcopate in the Cathedral of San Ambrosio in Linares.
