The Erzbistum Concepcion ( lat. : Archidioecesis Sanctissimae Conceptionis ) is an in Chile located Roman Catholic Archdiocese based in Concepcion .

It was taken out of the territory of the diocese of Santiago de Chile on March 22, 1563 and established as an independent diocese. On May 20, 1939, the diocese was elevated to an archdiocese.

The archbishopric is the sponsor of the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción .
