The college was founded on July 10, 1991 by the Archbishop of Concepción, Antonio Moreno Casamitjana . The university campuses are in Talcahuano , Los Ángeles , Chillán and Cañete . Christian Schmitz Vaccaro is the rector ; The Grand Chancellor is Fernando Natalio Chomalí Garib .
