Tomislav Limov

Tomislav Vlatka Limov (born December 11, 1954 in Metković , Socialist Republic of Croatia , Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian politician and diplomat .

Life

After attending primary school in Valpovo , he graduated from high school in Čapljina . This was followed by a degree in philosophy and sociology at the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Sarajevo .

Various activities followed in Čapljina. Among other things, he worked as a health insurance officer in the health insurance institution, was an accountant in the health center, teacher at the secondary school center, director of a trading company and worked for the tourism administration of the municipality.

He was a member of the Council of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina . In 2001 he became Deputy Minister of the Interior of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina . On January 17, 2003 he was elected as a delegate to the House of the Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina . There he was a member of the Constitutional Commission and the Joint Supervisory Commission of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and belonged to the Croatian club.

From September 2007 he was the Bosnian-Herzegovinian ambassador to Austria until he became ambassador to Germany in December 2008 .

He is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina .

Limov is married and has four children. He also speaks German .
