Herbert Tomm

Herbert Tomm (Der Reinhardswaldmaler) (born September 10, 1953 in Gottsbüren , Trendelburg , in Reinhardswald , Hessen ) and is a German painter and gallery owner . He works as a commissioned painter for landscape painting , portraits and as a restorer. He is also active in the art trade in Northern Hesse . In the Sababurg studio he created numerous forest and landscape pictures.

Life

Tomm attended the Werkkunstschule Kassel from 1971 to 1972, after which he did an apprenticeship as a painter and worked on the construction site, continuing education in painting, materials and color theory. He did military service in Rothwesten / Fuldatal, then he passed the state examination in the social field, healing and care professions, there also worked for many years in the public service, Orthopedic State Clinic in Kassel and most recently in the ev. Altenhilfe eV Hofgeismar. Since 1999 freelance with a focus on commissioned painting, art trading and painting restoration. Own studio & gallery The Reinhardswaldmaler in the old Vorwerk below the Sababurg near the zoo.
