career
Holmgren began his career at Gällivare SK . In 1977 he moved to IFK Göteborg with his brother Tord . He was active for the club until 1989 and was able to celebrate four championships and three cup wins. In addition, the UEFA Cup was won in 1982 against Hamburger SV and in 1987 against Dundee United .
