Tommy de Jong (born February 6, 1987 in Strasbourg / Bas-Rhin , France ) is a French footballer of Dutch descent. He currently plays for FC Steinseltz .

Career

Youth
Tommy de Jong was already active for Racing Strasbourg in his youth .

Seniors In
2004 he came to the club's professional team, where he was denied a role in the professional team. In 2007 he went to FC Martigues . There Tommy de Jong only came on two missions. For this reason, Tommy de Jong moved to the Netherlands, the country of his ancestors, for the 2008/09 season, and joined the second division club FC Dordrecht . In February 2009 he canceled his contract there. In July 2009 he signed again with Racing Strasbourg. And this time he was only used for the reserve team. In 19 missions he managed one hit. After a period without a club, he came to the Alsatian amateur club SC Schiltigheim in November 2010 . There Tommy de Jong came to 20 missions and two hits. For the 2011/12 season he went back to Racing Strasbourg and signed a 1 year contract. After his contract expired on June 30, 2012, he left the club and joined the Division d'Honneur club FC Steinseltz.
