Tone Åse (born February 24, 1965 ) is a Norwegian singer whose style is characterized by the experimental use of her voice, often also through electronic effects.

Tone Åse has her musical education, u. a. received classical singing training in Bergen and at the music conservatories in Trøndelag and Trondheim . Since 1991 she has been a member of the experimental vocal ensemble Kvitretten and was thus a member from the very beginning. In 1995 she founded the band Bol together with keyboardist Ståle Storløkken , saxophonist Tor Yttredal and drummer Tor Haugerud , whose music is a mixture of progressive rock, jazz, electronic music as well as pop and folk. She also appears as a member of the Trondheim Voices , a vocal ensemble made up of musicians from the Trondheim region. In addition to her active role as a singer, Tone Åse is also involved in various music educational projects.
