Toni Edelmann
Toni Edelmann (born October 25, 1945 in Hamina ; † October 20, 2017 in Lohja or Fiskars (Raseborg) ) was a Finnish musician and composer. He studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and at the Academy of Arts in Berlin.
In Finland, and among others in Germany, he composed music for numerous films and stage works. He was active as a composer in the Berliner Ensemble , where he worked particularly with Manfred Karge . He was also active as a composer at the Burgtheater in Vienna and at the Tübingen State Theater.
His son is the Finnish actor and singer Samuli Edelmann .
