Tony Harris (athlete)
Tony Harris (actually Anthony James Harris; born June 1, 1941 ) is a former British middle-distance runner .
In 1962 he reached the semi-finals at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade over 800 m . Starting for Wales , he finished sixth over 880 yards and in the mile run at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth .
At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston in 1966 , he was eliminated over 880 yards and over a mile in advance.
In 1966 he became Welsh Champion over 880 yards.
