Tony O'Neill

Tony O'Neill (* 1978 in Blackburn , Lancashire ) is an English author and musician .

Life

Tony O'Neill was born in Blackburn , Lancashire in 1978 . He was initially a musician a. a. worked for Kenickie , Marc Almond , PJ Proby and The Brian Jonestown Massacre before turning to writing.

In 2006 Tony O'Neill published his debut novel Digging The Vein , in which he processed his years as a musician and heroin addict. This was followed by the novels Digging The Vein ( 2006 ), Down and Out on Murder Mile ( 2008 ), Sick City ( 2010 ) and Black Neon ( 2012 ) as well as several collections of short stories and the volume of poetry Songs from the Shooting Gallery .
