Life

His parents, both Assyrians , fled Lebanon with him when he was a few days old. After a four-year stay in the Greek capital Athens , the family finally moved permanently to the USA and moved to Chicago .

Yalda discovered his interest in acting at school and appeared in plays. After graduating from high school, he first studied acting for two years at DePaul University's Theater School before moving to Roosevelt University's Theater Conservatory . However, since Yalda wanted to get into the acting business as soon as possible, he did not finish his training at Roosevelt University's Theater Conservatory , but moved to Los Angeles .

Since he didn't have an agent at first, he snuck into casting offices by posing as a courier. With this tactic he finally succeeded and got his first roles. In 2005 he appeared in an episode of The Comeback series with Lisa Kudrow and then finally got an agent.

In 2006, Yalda played alongside Hugh Grant , Dennis Quaid and Mandy Moore a larger role in the film satire American Dreamz - All Just Show and has since got regular roles in film and television.
