Topographical postal lexicon of all localities of the kk hereditary countries
Topographical Post-Lexicon of all localities of the kk hereditary countries is the title of a book series with local directories to record the localities . It was published in 25 volumes from 1789 to 1828. It covers, among other things, Inner , Upper and Lower Austria as well as Brixen and Trento , as parts of the Habsburg hereditary lands .
The series was edited by Christian Crusius (May 14, 1758 - May 26, 1831). Crusius studied in Vienna , then entered the civil service and devoted himself to the postal system. He became the kk councilor and inspector of the postal car administration.
