Torben Krämer (born December 26, 1974 in Lingen (Ems) ) is a German actor .

Act

After graduating from high school Georgianum in Lingen , he did community service as a paramedic. He completed his acting training in Cologne . There he was engaged at the Schauspielhaus until 2002 and worked, among other things, in the productions Richard III. , Ghost and shadow boys of the Swedish author Lars Norén . This was followed by a multi-year engagement at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater, where he appeared on stage as Willi Graf in The White Rose , as Hermann Bremer in The Discovery of Currywurst and as Paul in Feelgood . The Berlin audience knows him through engagements at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm . At the end of 2007 he played Ricardo Cano in Stories of Mama and Papa , directed by Wolfgang Spier , and then on tour throughout Germany.

In 2008, Torben Krämer received the Cologne Theater Prize in the leading role of Alexander at the Freie Werkstatt Theater in Cologne for the best production in the play "The rage of the whole world", based on the novel by Maarten 't Hart . In 2009 he was there in the leading role Christian von Dahlem in the production Halbschatten on stage. For this role, together with the ensemble, he was named the best young actor in North Rhine-Westphalia in the specialist theater magazine "Theater pur". In 2010 the play "Benefiz - Everyone saves an African" by Ingrid Lausund celebrated its premiere at the same theater .

In the summer of 2009 he took on the role of Ruprecht in The Broken Krug and Phoebus von Chateaupers in The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the cloister plays in Feuchtwangen . In 2011 he will play the leading role of Benedict in the Shakespeare classic " Much Ado About Nothing ". He played episodic roles in series Die Wache , Verbotene Liebe , SOKO Wismar and Diversant . The film Svoi (2004) was named Best Competition Film 2004 at the Moscow International Film Festival . In German cinema he starred in 2005 alongside Götz George in the production of Maria an Callas and in 2010 alongside Matthias Köberlin and Oliver Wnuk in the film "Alleingang", directed by Hartmut Schoen .

Awards

With the world premiere of the novel Die GO-Spielerin by Shan Sa at the Freie Werkstatt Theater in Cologne, Krämer was nominated for the Cologne Theater Prize in 2004 in the leading role of lieutenant . He won this award only in 2008 as Alexander in the world premiere of the novel The Raging of the Whole World by Maarten 't Hart . For his role as Christian von Dahlem in "Halbschatten" by Uwe Timm , Torben Krämer received the award as the best young actor in North Rhine-Westphalia with the ensemble in the critics' survey of the specialist magazine Theater pur, June 2009 issue.
