Erik Torbjörn "Tore" Hedwall (born December 23, 1945 in Insjön , Sweden ) is a former Swedish ice hockey coach .

Career

During his career as a coach, Hedwall was initially active in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga for the Krefelder EV (1981 to 1984), the ESG Kassel (1985 to 1988) and the EHC Essen ( 1990/91 ) .

In the 1985/86 and 1986/87 seasons he played with ESG Kassel to qualify for the ice hockey Bundesliga . With the many newcomers such as Dave O'Brien , Tim Schnobrich and Miroslav Dvořák - the entry from the Philadelphia Flyers from the NHL - only one point was missing for promotion to the top division, but this missed qualification meant a financial crisis for the Society. Due to the large investment in the team, the club had to file for bankruptcy that same year. As a result, Hedwall left the ice hockey club from Kassel when it tried a fresh start in the league under the new name EC Kassel .
