Tornik ( Cyrillic : Торник) is a village in western Serbia , near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina .
Geography and population
The village is located in the Ljubovija Opština , in the Okrug Mačva . The place had 168 inhabitants in the 2002 census, compared to 221 inhabitants in 1991. According to the last three population statistics, the population of Tornik continues to fall. 99% of the population are Serbian Orthodox Serbs . In addition, a Yugoslav lives in the village. Tornik consists of 52 households.
To the east of Tornik is the 1272 m high Tornička Bobija mountain . The village is east of the Drina and the municipal capital Ljubovija .
