Goal scorer at Pariser Platz
The goal scorer at Pariser Platz is a literary scholarship that has been awarded to writers living in exile in Germany since 2018 by the Allianz Kulturstiftung and the Brandenburg Gate Foundation in conjunction with the Berlin Literary Colloquium . The scholarship is endowed with € 12,000, plus a two-month stay at the Berlin Literary Colloquium. The aim is to support writers in exile in Germany who have been threatened and persecuted in their home countries. The scholarship is also intended to commemorate the fate of German authors during the National Socialist era who found protection and asylum in other countries.
A jury made up of Christina Weiss (Allianz Kulturstiftung), Christine Thalmann ( RBB ), Thomas Geiger (Literarisches Colloquium Berlin) and chairman Thomas Sparr (Brandenburg Gate Foundation) will decide on the award .
