Torsten Conradi
Torsten Conradi (born March 16, 1956 in Bremen ) is a German shipbuilding engineer and regatta and touring sailor.
Life
After studying shipbuilding in Hanover and Hamburg , he spent five years researching the aerodynamics and hydrodynamics of yachts. In 1986 he became the third partner of the yacht design company Judel / Vrolijk & Co. in Bremerhaven to the two founders Rolf Vrolijk and Friedrich Judel as a partner.
Torsten Conradi has been a member of the board of the German Boat and Shipbuilding Association (DBSV) since 1998 , became Vice President in 2000 and President of the Association in 2008. He chairs the yacht committee of Germanischer Lloyd and is a member of the technical advisory board. He also owns three hotels on Heligoland.
