Torsten Schulz (born February 2, 1969 ) is a former German indoor and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Torsten Schulz started playing indoor volleyball in 1982 at the GDR sports school TSC Berlin . In the 1994/95 season, the setter played for Bundesliga club SCC Berlin . After an interlude at league competitor Dürener TV , he returned to SCC in 1997 and was used as a universal player. In 2001 Schulz moved to Bavaria for ASV Dachau , where he was head coach from 2002 to 2005 and then looked after the second team.

Career Beach

Torsten Schulz has also played beach volleyball since 1992 . His partners in Berlin were David Schüler , André Fröhlich , Uwe Körner , Dirk Oldenburg and Andreas Scheuerpflug and in Dachau Norbert Kunstek and Dirk Taubert , with whom he became Bavarian Champion in 2007.

Professional

Torsten Schulz is a trained office administrator and now works as a project manager in Munich .
