Torun Eriksen
Torun Eriksen (born January 8, 1977 in Lunde ) is a Norwegian singer .
Live and act
Torun Eriksen began her musical career at the age of six when she joined a gospel choir. Until she was 19, she cavorted as a choir member and soloist in the gospel environment. In doing so, she repeatedly immersed herself in the related musical worlds of soul , jazz and rhythm and blues , dealt extensively with jazz standards and began to write her own compositions. She studied music at Skien University in Norway and later attended the Norwegian Institute for Stage and Studio ( NISS ) in Oslo . In 2003 she released her first solo album Glittercard , which was followed by Prayers & Observations in 2006 . She also worked with Jan Felix May .
