Tough Love (DJ Duo)

Tough Love is a British DJ and producer duo consisting of the London musicians Alex Prinzivalli and Stefan O'Brien. It was founded in 2011 and is known for its danceable house music with strong bass.

Musician

Tough Love mainly publishes remixes, including songs by the artists Alexa Goddard, Meghan Trainor , Le Youth, Shift K3Y, Craig David , Jamiroquai and Jess Glynne . They won the 2014 Bass Music Awards with the single Lonely Highway . Her biggest success so far was the track So Freakin 'Tight , which reached number 11 in the UK charts in 2015, followed by Pony (Jump on It) with number 39 in the same year. During 2017 they released their first album, Past, Present, Future , in three parts.

Producers

In 2012, Prinzivalli and O'Brien founded the imprint label "Get Twisted" (part of the Island Records group), with which they released music by Roger Sanchez , Todd Terry , Amine Edge & DANCE, Purple Disco Machine and Hannah Wants, among others .
