Towson is a civil parish , a census-designated place and the county seat of Baltimore County in the US state of Maryland . Towson has 51,973 inhabitants on an area of 36.8 km².
history
Towson was founded around 1750 by the brothers William and Thomas Towson. The local garden designer Wolfgang Oehme planted numerous green areas in the city in his unmistakable style.
