Tracy Pollan
Tracy Jo Pollan (born June 22, 1960 in Long Island , New York ) is an American actress . She was best known for the sitcom Familienbande , in which she starred from 1985 to 1987.
Pollan began her acting career around 1980 on various theater stages; later she also played on Broadway . It wasn't until 1983 that she switched to the camera with a supporting role in Baby It's You . She was best known on the side of Michael J. Fox in the series Familienbande (1985 to 1987) and the feature film The bright lights of the big city (1988).
She has been dating Fox since working on this film together, and they married in 1988. The couple has a son (* 1989), twin daughters (* 1995) and another daughter (* 2001). Since the mid-1990s, Pollan has rarely worked as an actress because of her children.
In 1997 and 1999 she had a guest role in the series Chaos City , again at the side of Michael J. Fox. For another guest role, in two episodes of Law & Order: New York in 2000, she was nominated for an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress. In the series Medium she was seen in the fifth season.
