The Trakiya Heights (English; Bulgarian Тракийски възвишения Trakijski waswischenija ) are a km northwest-southeast extension 10 long and 5.9 kilometers wide and Irakli peak up to 1336 m high mountains in Graham land on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Trinity Peninsula , it is bounded to the north by the Russell West Glacier , to the northeast by the Russell East Glacier , to the southwest by the Victory Glacier and to the northwest by the Zlidol Gate . The Prince Gustav Canal lies to the southeast.
German and British scientists mapped it together in 1996. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the historic Balkan landscape of Thrace .
