The Zlidol gate (English; Bulgarian Злидолска порта Slidolska porta ) is a horseshoe-shaped, 500 m wide and 800 m high saddle in the north of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It separates the Detroit Plateau in the west from the towering Trakiya Heights to the east and connects the Russell West Glacier in the north with the Victory Glacier in the south.
German and British scientists mapped it together in 1996. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the town of Slidol in northwestern Bulgaria .
