Tranebjerg Sogn was an independent parish municipality ( Danish Sogn ) on the Danish island of Samsø .
Until 1962 she belonged to Harde Samsø Herred in the Holbæk office . In 1962 it was merged with the four other parishes on the island to form Samsø Kommune , which in 1970 moved to the Århus Office and, during the local reform on January 1, 2007, to the Midtjylland region .
All Sogn on Samsø were merged to Samsø Sogn on May 1st, 2014 . On April 1, 2014 there were 1674 inhabitants in the parish.
814 inhabitants live in the parish village of Tranebjerg . (As of January 1, 2020).
Neighboring churches were Onsbjerg and Besser in the north and Kolby in the west .
In the former parish are the churches "Tranebjerg Kirke" and "Ørby Kirke".
