The Transmission Motor Company was a manufacturer of automobiles from Pakistan .

Company history

The Karachi company was part of Transmission Engineering Industries Limited . Automobile production began in 2004 or 2006 depending on the source. The brand name was TMC . The production capacity was 5000 vehicles annually. Production ended in 2011.

The Alif was a four-door passenger car , the Bay Van was a panel van and the Bay Pick-up was a pick-up . The base of the vehicles formed a lead frame made of steel . The wheelbase was 188 cm. A single - cylinder four-stroke engine with a capacity of 200 cm³ and 15 hp drove the rear wheels.
