Adam Motor Company Ltd. or Adam Motors Ltd. is a Pakistani manufacturer of products for the rehabilitation sector such as wheelchairs, which are also motorized. For a few years the company also manufactured automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 2001 in Karachi . The construction of the plant lasted from December 18, 2002 to June 15, 2003. The production of automobiles and commercial vehicles ran either from 2002 to 2006, from 2005 to 2009 or from 2002. The brand names were Adam for passenger cars and Zabardast for commercial vehicles. The plant's capacity was 24,000 vehicles per year.

In March 2002, the first trucks were manufactured under a Chinese license .

Off-road vehicles were created from December 2003 in cooperation with Beijing Jeep . There was a choice between a gasoline engine with a displacement of 2500 cm³ and a diesel engine with a displacement of 2800 cm³ and an output of 76 hp . In addition to a station wagon , there was also an open version, both with four doors. Five vehicles were built in the first month.

In April 2005, the Adam Revo mini car came onto the market. It had four doors and a large tailgate. There was a choice of engines from Wuling with a capacity of 797 cc and 35 hp as well as 1051 cc and 56 hp. 600 vehicles were sold.

The Adam Boltoro from 2006 to 2008 was also an off-road vehicle. With a wheelbase of 2500 mm and a track width of 1510 mm (front) or 1500 mm (rear), it was 4340 mm long, 1828 mm wide and 1870 mm high. The curb weight was given as 1600 kg. The vehicles were powered by a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2237 cm³ and an output of 75 kW.
