The Traualpsee is a 1631 m above sea level. A. high-altitude small reservoir above the Vilsalpsee in the Allgäu Alps in the municipality of Tannheim , Reutte district , Tyrol . The lake is 610 meters long, 416 meters wide, and has an area of 15.22 hectares.
Above the lake in the south is the Landsberger Hut (1805 m) with the Grünen Lache , a small mountain lake. In the north is the Obere Traualpe. The lake is located in the Vilsalpsee nature reserve .
