The Travelers Rest River is a river in the western part of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river rises on the southern slopes of the Mountains of Jupiter , a mountain range on the eastern border of the Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park . From there it flows south through the Travelers Rest Lake and the Travelers Rest Lagoon and flows into the Derwent River at Derwent Bridge .
