Tres Coronas

Tres Coronas is a hip-hop group that was founded in 2001 in New York City by the two Colombian rappers Rocca & PNO and the Dominican rapper Reychesta.

Founded in 2001 in Queens (New York City), the aim of the group was to spread Latino HipHop and make it more heard. The group was an underground before their first major commercial label release with the album "Nuestra Cosa". Before that, she released numerous mixtapes in Colombia, the United States , France , Costa Rica , Venezuela and Spain , among others . Later the three musicians founded their own label "Parcero Productions" and spread their music all over Latin America . In 2005 the group celebrated great success with the album "Nuestra Cosa", which they released under the label "Machete Records", a sub-label of the Universal Music Group . The album was re-released with an additional DVD containing documentation and music videos . This was also followed by an international tour. In 2007 the album "Street Album" was released, which is only available online. While the work on this album was still in progress, there were disputes between the two Colombians Rocca & PNO and the Dominican Reychesta. Reychesta then left the group. The name "Tres (Spanish for three) Coronas" was retained. In 2011 the new album by the two Colombians "La Música Es Mi Arma" was released in France, Switzerland and Belgium , among others .
