Yannik Gölz from laut.de rated Trettmann with three out of a possible five points. In terms of content, it moves “between cautious self-adulation, a bit of nostalgic pounding and separation songs that are sophisticated and uneventful.” The real highlights are the KitschKrieg productions with “brilliant electro, house and dancehall beat overlays that some Place wonderfully in the soundscape and turn songs in unexpected directions. ”Overall, the album cannot keep up with the much-praised predecessor #DIY ,“ because the truly wonderful comeback story of Trettmann 2019 is no longer in focus. ”

Dzermana Schönhaber from MZEE wrote a mixed review of the album. It is true that the beats are "consistently excellently produced" again, but the lyrics are often "not particularly demanding in terms of content [...]." In conclusion, she concludes with the fact that "the record is rather light fare and easily audible, but not a groundbreaking album" be.
