Trevor Campbell

Trevor Campbell (born July 24, 1954 ) is a former Jamaican sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

In 1971 he won silver in the 4 x 400 meter relay with the Jamaican team at the Pan American Games in Cali .

At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he retired in the 4 x 400 meter relay in the preliminary run.

Over 400 m he reached the semi-finals at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in 1974 and was seventh at the 1975 Pan American Games in Mexico City.

He set his personal best over 440 yards of 46.6 s (equivalent to 46.3 s over 400 m) on May 18, 1974 in Los Angeles .
